Screws!

Nothing very interesting going on today, but hey, why not feed my addiction!

I slept for like 12 hours yesterday. I took a few naps and then slept from 11:00-8:30. It was good times.

My mom wants all of you to know that it was a BMW 540I my stepdad bought for her, not a 525! Gahh!!

I feel like I'm 12 years old again because I've been to two malls in the past 24 hours. Can I just say one thing?

Hot Topic.

(roll eyes into the back of my head.)

My mom also handed over her credit card so I could buy some new shoes for my birthday. I like to buy new shoes! Here is what I'm going to buy:

But in a dark reddish color. I love Docs, yes I do. But I want to get these because they remind me of these shoes I used to have when I was a youngin of 12 years old. They were called "Screws" and I loved them more than anything ever in the whole world! And then I went traipsing through the mud with Ali-Kat and got them all dirty. So of course, I put them on top of the sink so I could wash them.

Of course, to your average great dane, "Red shoes" means "Mmmm, food!" And a few hours later, they were gone. Dead. My beautiful red Screws. It was quite traumatizing.

Have I mentioned yet that I was in Las Vegas the same time that Guns N Roses were playing? Oh, I have? Well, I'm going to mention it again because I'm telling you all about the traumatizing events of my life.

Me and BB and two others went on a road trip to San Diego last winter. We stopped in Las Vegas, where none of us had ever been, on New Years Eve. We stayed at the Luxor because well, it was the Luxor and it was nice and we were willing to pay more because it was New Year's eve. (See, BB's friend works for Marriott, so he gets the $29.00 rate on most hotel rooms, and that works out quite well for us on road trips.)

Anyway, we ate at the buffet and then took a nap and then woke up for the evening's New Years festivities. Little did I know that Axl Rose and his band, that would be Guns N Roses, were playing RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET! If you know Vegas at all, you know the Mandalay Bay and the Luxor are like.. right next to each other.

I missed Axl. He was right there. In front of me. And I had no idea.

You would think as soon as I got to Vegas I'd feel a disturbance in the atmosphere and then be able to slowly think to myself that Axl was in the proximity. But no, that did not happen, and the only way I found out that Guns N Roses were there was 2 days later at a casino in California. I almost cried, I really did.

It was a very sad time in my life.

Anyway.. I have alot of stuff to do right now, so have a nice day.
